Mit einem Paukenschlag gegen die zunehmende Sterilität des inzwischen sehr gesetzten Berliner
Kunstbetriebes mit dem Hang zu Mainstream- und Konzeptkunst platzt die B.AGL ART EXPLOSION 2013
– The Independent Art
Fair Berlin herein: internationale, frische, ungesehene, vielfältige Positionen,
Konzepte, Stile und Techniken werden während der Berlin Art Week im Postbahnhof (S-Ostbahnhof )
ungewöhnlich präsentiert – Kunst zum Staunen, Kaufen und Hören, für Enthusiasten, Experten und
Sammler.
Für über 130 aufstrebende und etablierte Aussteller (Künstler, Kuratoren und Galerien) und 9
außergewöhnliche music artists aus aller Welt wird die Kunst-Messe B.AGL (Berlin.Art Goes Live)
temporäre Plattform für neue Ansätze der professionellen Selbst-Darstellung und auch Self-Promotion.
An 5 Tagen zeigen die Aussteller auf über 3.000 m² hochwertige Malerei, Skulpturen, Fotografe,
Installationen, Video - u.a. aus Brasilien, China, Dänemark, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Italien, Israel,
Kanada, Korea, Kroatien, Kuba, Österreich, Polen, Schweiz, Slovenien, Russland, Ukraine und USA. Für die
innovativen B.AGL Konzepte stehen beispielhaft die Contemporary Art Mall, in der Künstler zu günstigen
Konditionen einzelne Werke zeigen, die Pop-Up-Spaces für Kuratoren, die ausgesuchte Artists
präsentieren und das Konzept, Kunst und Musik in Verbindung live zu zeigen.
Themen und Schwerpunkte der ofen kuratierten Kunst-Show werden dieses Jahr unter anderem sein:
Politik, Erotik, Skulptur und überhaupt eine neue Sicht auf vielfältige Tendenzen zeitgenössischer Kunst
von Künstlern aller Altersgruppen. Special Guest dieses Jahr ist der bekannte Filmemacher Rosa von
Praunheim, der sich erstmals mit vielen Arbeiten als Künstler vorstellt.
Die Independent Art Fair B.AGL ART EXPLOSION, die sich seit 2009 sehr erfolgreich entwickelt hat, will
nicht nur einfach Kunst listen, Vorschau sein oder das Kunst-ABC zelebrieren, sondern ist eine lebendige,
unmittelbare, ofene Plattform für die doppelte Emanzipation von Künstler und Enthusiast. Deshalb, und
auch um Berlin wieder spannend und authentisch als weltweiten Knotenpunkt für grenzenlose Kunst zu
exponieren, wird es jeden Abend ab 19 Uhr Musik-Kunst mit einem Doppel-Konzert geben. Dabei treten
bekannte und neue Musiker auf wie Sprung aus den Wolken mit Kiddy Citny und Renault Schubert,
Sebastian Arnold, Lukas Meister, Get High Fiona, meta, Karl Trompete, Ulli und die grauen Zellen, Brokof,
(We are) Transmission und Dr. Motte (Father of the LoveParade) !
Für Drinks + Food in bekannt lockerer Atmosphäre sorgt die legendäre StäV (Ständige Vertretung) Berlin.
Obwohl die B.AGL ART EXPLOSION sich absolut selbstständig und ohne jegliche öfentliche Förderung
nur aus den Beiträgen der Teilnehmer und Partner fnanziert, ist der Eintritt günstig, um allen Kunst-
Enthusiasten das Erlebnis Kunst zu ermöglichen.
Öfnungszeiten: 18.09. Grand Opening 17:00 – 23:00 Uhr (freier Eintritt), 19.09 - 21.09.2013 von 14.00 -
23.00 Uhr, 22.09. von 14 - 19 Uhr.
Besucher können direkt vom Ostbahnhof (DB/S-Bahn) in den Postbahnhof gehen.
Optimal zu erreichen mit den S-Bahnlinien S-Ostbahnhof S3, S5, S7, S9, S75, den Buslinien 140, 147, 240,
347, N40 oder mit der nahen U5.

With a big bang against the growing sterility of the meanwhile very settled Berlin art business with the
tendency to mainstream and conceptual works the B.AGL ART EXPLOSION 2013
– The Independent Art
Fair Berlin crashes in: international, fresh, unseen, manifold positions, concepts, styles and techniques are
presented during the Berlin Art Week in an unconventional way at the Postbahnhof (S-Ostbahnhof ) – art
to be astounded, to buy and to hear, for enthusiasts, experts and collectors.
For more than 130 emerging and established exhibitors (artists, curators and galleries) and 9 exceptional
music artists from all over the world the art fair B.AGL (Berlin.Art Goes Live) will be a temporary platform
for new approaches of professionell self presenting and also for self promotion. During 5 days the
exhibitors will show high-quality paintings, sculptures, photography, installations, video on more than
3.000 sq m – among others from Brazil, China, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Italy, Israel, Canada, Corea,
Croatia, Cuba, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Slovenia, Russia, Ukraine, and USA. Exemplarily for the
innovative B.AGL concepts are the Contemporary Art Mall, where artists can show singular works at
favourable conditions, the Pop-Up-Spaces for curators to present selected artists, and the extraordinary
concept to show art and music live in combination.
Themes and focus points of the openly curated art show in this year will be: politics, erotics, sculpture,
and generally a new view on multiple tendencies of contemporary art from artist of all ages. Special guest
this year is the well known german flm maker Rosa von Praunheim, who will introduce himself as artist
with many works for the frst time.
The Independent Art Fair B.AGL ART EXPLOSION, which has been developing since 2009 very
successfully, does not simply want to list art, or be a preview, or celebrate the ABC of art, but is a lively,
immediate, open platform for the double emancipation from artists and enthusiasts. Therefore, and also
to expose Berlin exceptionally and authentically again as a worldwide node for unlimited Art, there will
be musical art every evening as a double concert. Famous and new musicians will be presented, like
Sprung aus den Wolken with Kiddy Citny and Renault Schubert, Sebastian Arnold, Lukas Meister, Get
High Fiona, meta, Karl Trompete, Ulli und die grauen Zellen, We are Transmission und Dr. Motte (Father of
the LoveParade)!
For drinks + food in the known easy going mood the legendary StäV (Ständige Vertretung) Berlin will
take care.
Although the B.AGL Art Explosion is fnanced totally self-dependent by the contributions of the
participants and partners only and without any public funding, the entrance prices are favourable to
allow art-experience for all art enthusiasts.
Opening hours: 09/18 Grand Opening 5 pm – 11 pm (free entrance), 09/19/ - 09/21/ from 2 pm – 11 pm,
09/22/ from 12 pm -7 pm.
Visitors can walk directly from the station Ostbahnhof (Deutsche Bahn/ S-Bahn Berlin) to the
Postbahnhof. Optimally reachable with S-Bahn Ostbahnhof S3, S5, S7, S9, S75, Bus 140 ,147, 240, 347,
N40 or with the near U5.

About B.AGL ART afFAIRs: founded by artists in 2009 as an independent exhibition project and grown
since that continually, until the makers decided 2013 to run it as an Art Fair Project. The makers are
